Part of the Blue Sweater Art operating model is to commit at least 30% of all profits to a charitable organization. Since I draw mostly animals, my preference is to find charities that not only help animals but people.  For me this strikes a good balance, as I believe there are so many people who need help. And what better way than to provide the love and support only an animal can provide? 

I am pleased to introduce you to the Charities that will receive Blue Sweater Art's yearly donations.

Semper K9

Semper K-9 trains rescued and donated dogs to help wounded service members' individual needs. They work with these heroes and their families, providing support and encouragement. As a Veteran myself, I am thrilled to be supporting such an honorable cause. 

  

Compassion International

My family has been sponsoring Compassion International for 20 years and have watched children in impoverished areas around the world grow up and complete the program. One year we decided to gift a family some chickens which provided them an income opportunity selling eggs. We received a lovely note and were humbled at how such a small gift had such a large impact. I am excited to see how Blue Sweater Art can continue to make a continued impact.
