Dari is an elegant pitbull-pointer mix that remembers to cross her paws whenever she rests, thus earning her the nickname, "the Duchess". Her gentle temperament and regal stride inspired her classy attire. Her soft blue chenille sweater is accented by a matching fascinator. Dari was a stray who found her forever home at ~6 yrs old. She lived with her family for 9 more years. This portrait was completed after she passed, but makes her owners smile as they remember her.
Her portrait was digitally drawn on a Samsung tablet using a stylus. Multiple "brushes were used including a fine pen, soft marker, pencil (2B, HB), and airbrush. Dari's portrait took 157 hours to complete.
